I live and work in Philadelphia with my husband,
son, dog, cats, and books, a few parched cacti, a
respectable quantity of dust, great shoes, a decent circular saw, an old
car, a new rope ladder, a clanging in the radiator
pipes, forty-eight drafty windows and doors, a ripe
avocado on the sill, and an eerie sound coming from
the basement.
